Information Policy and Customer Care (Metastorm taken over by Open Text"

Hello

Vie Gartner Group I have learned that Metastorm is being taken over by Open Text. I have then searched the Metastorm site for an information, the search did not yield any results.

As a customer for quite some years I would have expected to receive some information directly from Metastorm, or then to see a discussion take place. I for example ask myself if a company like Open Text has any interest in enterprise architecture and/or Metastorm Provision

What do other customers think?

I heard about this from the other forum, and my business users found it elsewhere on their own.  I have wondered why nothing has been mentioned in at least the News feed.  It almost makes me wonder if its true (when why not deny it) or not.  I do wonder what this will mean going forward ....

You can see a statement on the OpenText web site which I believe clarifies the current position.

All the news agencies have reports about this acquisition. Still as a "valued customer" and/or user I would have expected a statement by Metastorm. You can also check out, what Gartner has to say: OpenText Buys Metastorm to Compete in Emerging Case Management Market (in case you have a subscription)

There are also open questions about the future of the products, especially in the architecture area, as OpenText is not a enterprise architecture company.
