7.6.2.6 Stability

After applying the hotfix 6 to 7.6R2

I get the following error and the engine fails.

Windows 2003 r2 (32 bit) all the latest patches os patches applied

SQL server 2005 (also happens with SQL server 2008)

I've tried it on 3 diferent machines , two VMs and a Physical

I unistalled and reinstalled several times

Faulting application dllhost.exe, version 5.2.3790.3959, stamp 45d6967a, faulting module msvcr80.dll, version 8.0.50727.3079, stamp 49027e88, debug? 0, fault address 0x000149d1.

It appears to be random, I can’t reproduce it at will. It takes a few hours of testing and then it happens, other times right when we submit the first time or pick a case up. The form hangs and  then this error.

Any Ideas?

Re: 7.6.2.6 Stability

Hi,

I have seen an issue like that before.  It was related to the manual deletion of entries from the eSession table on a regular basis.

Are you doing anything like that?

Yes.  I will disable the job and let you know what happens.

Thing is, it takes so long to break it. very hard to test.

Thanks,

Re: 7.6.2.6 Stability

Hi

I'm having the same problem, but I don't delete any eSession records (Metastorm BPM 7.6.2.3) and engine crashes from time to time. Last time it crashed about 2 months ago. Any other ideas?
