I was very disappointed to learn that a standard feature of 7.6 is unavailable in version 9. When a long text or memo field is displayed in a grid column in Metastorm BPM 9.0.3, the grid will only display as much as fits on one line.
If anyone knows a workaround for this I would much appreciate knowing it. For us, this is a show stopper.
Fields in the filter area of a report can only be put on the report if you add those filter fields to the business object.
Please make it possible to add filter fields to reports, without the need to put them in a business object.
It seems that one restriction which is overly restrictive is that we cannot define solution tables in libraries. If we can establish custom business objects in there, it would only make sense that we should be able to define a custom table that could support this.
The real business case for this is that we can then have a simpler deployment between development, staging, and production environments instead of having to create a custom SQL Statement store it somewhere, and make sure it gets deployed with the solution.
