It would be nice if Knowledge Exchange could display details of associated objects that user could drill down to details of assocated objects to see what's going on or allow a user to see text interpretation of model.
Why?
If I want to use Knowledge Exchange for presentation models to users I need that they have possibility to see all associated objects with their details or to see text interpretation of model to don't to click on every model. In this case, HTML export gives me better possibilities and KE loses it's value for presentation and I can use it just for multiple users development and online editing.
Are you talking about the web client part of Knowledge exchange?
If so I agree with you. The web client is completely non functiuonal when it comes to viewing associations already on ab object - it should have a pane displaying these, or at least an option to display such a pane. Given the associations are where much of the value lies they need to be accessable.
Personally I would rather people use a compiled html help file, or even a word document than expose non Provision client users to the web client. I have found people formn very negitive impressions about Provision based on the web client expreience. I am hoping that at some time a decent user friendly web client will be available (is that what Smart Business Work Space is supposed to be)
I have used the web client to effectively scare users into having the application client installed. I show them how to do their updates via the web client, then show then the application client - I get to do an install every time.
