As a external developer, I would like the abiltity to re-create a session from a pre-existing SessionID, so that I don't have to perform a new login request.
This had previously been possible in the v7.6 ECL and is still possible in the legacy layer using the
ESessionConfigurer.CreateSession(SessionID, ServiceName) method, but it is not possible with the v9 native ECL. Having to do a new login request is at worst impossible if I don't have the password of the user or at best ineffecient. A prime example of this is if I want to use the ECL from with a server-side script in a form event. I can access the SessionID via ProcessContext, but I cannot access the users password directly.
