Hello again,
The full numbering comes from the context of the Activity. Due to Activities having an ability to have multiple contexts we don't define the 'full' numbering of an Activity in the Activity Usage sheet, so you just see the single 'Number Prefix' as that is specifically designated for that Activity Usage. Unfortunately the excel spreadsheet isn't quite as easy to gather what an Activity's particular context will be (versus a relational database) based on the other sheets. You can use the Parent-Child Link sheet, looking at the 'To Name' to determine the parentage for a given activity. The problem is that if you have an object with nesting beyond just 1 level it can get very confusing.
If you're looking to report against these Activities, I would suggest creating a custom report using Crystal Reports. There is a qualified name field that contains the full numbering.
If you're concerned about losing your numbering, other than the 'base' numbering, that is defined by the context in which the Activity Usage resides (when you look in the inventory, you see the last opened instance of the object's numbering displayed).
Regards,
Matt Michael
