Tips on locking size of an activity

As I work through my Process model hierarchy and workflows, changes to the name of the activity or even just clicking the activity to add to 'notes' etc, resizes the activity object, forcing me to constantly do "Format | Same Size" to keep the look of the activities consistent.

I am still on 6.2.4.

How can I make it so that the object doesn't automatically change size?

THere was a Preference setting in

   Menu | Tools | Preferences | uncheck "Automatically grow objects to contain name text"
