Check-In /Check-out problem

We're running KE Server 6.2.4 and Provision 6.2.4. In recent times, we've been having endless problems with 2 or more users trying to check out different models simultaneously.  Unfortunately this has caused problems where only 1 check-out attempt success and the others queue endlessly or fail.  Our immediate remedy would be to start our Tomcat application server.

Is there any explanation for the cause of the slow and failed check-out/check-in ?

We ran into this issue last night as well. 

Has there been a resolution posted for this issue?

We ran into this same issue.  The resolution to this problem is upgrading both ProVIsion and Knowledge Exchange to 6.3.0.  That is the only thing that eliminated this (among other) problem(s).
