Problem open a folder from a link

Hi all,

I use a link from an email send to users to notify them the folder created.

This link points to a folder in bpm 9 and is constructed using eFolder.aspx page and attribute parameters.

It' looks like this:

https://my.domain.it/BPMSEC/WebClient/eFolder.aspx?FolderID=0900000000000000000000000309241&Service=ODM%209%20PROD&SN=B6...

The problem is shown as an hanging waiting time displayng a round circle image.

I have no problem to open the page, but many times the page stops it in loading operation and the guest watchs the "loading.jpg" image on the screen. If I press "F5", re-loading the page, I can see the form with all data.

I suppose that there is some problem on ajax/javascript code, but I don't find any problem in debug mode.

How can I solve it ?

Someone can help me? Does someone already  find this problem?

Thanks

Simona

Re: Problem open a folder from a link

What specific version of v9 are you using?  I seem to recall some issues that sounds similar to this.  Make sure you are up to the latest release and hotfixes, if you can.

Re: Problem open a folder from a link

Hi Simona,

What exact version of v9 are you running? Are you hitting the folder URL via SSO? Like Ari mentioned, there was a bug identified in 9.x that causes the load screen to hang when accessing external URLs via SSO. It was corrected in the latest Hotfix.

I also noticed that your URL is incomplete. The correct format for accessing a direct URL to an existing folder view in your case is:

https://intranet.secservizi.sec/BPMSEC/WebClient/eFolder.aspx?FolderID=09000000000000000000000003092...

Please see section 4 of the Web Client COnfiguration Guide (BPM URLs).
