Commas not read as Carriage Return

We are using BPM 7.6.  We have users that populate tables that are accessed from drop down fields within a process.  When they add data, that includes commas, into the tables (using admin forms)  the commas function as carriage returns when the list is displayed within the drop down.  In other words, the data field is not displayed as nice continuous line, but is shown as a continuation on the next line after the commas within the drop down list.  How can the user enter commas that will show as commas when the fields are obtained and displayed within the drop down list.  Thanks.

You are now able to set the list delimiter for list and dropdown fields. Use the default SelectSQL() of LF/CR for the delimter if you can, or specify your own that is not likely to appear in the list, such as a pipe | character. This will prevent your list items being split across two lines.
