Trasform EMX Model from RAS to ProVision

Hello

I use ProVision to model process.

My collegues who work implementig On RAS using UML model, ask me to import EMX to ProVision to create a repository in which navigate the different model and produce  documentation through Report function.

I don't be able to find a complete documentation to guide me for the correct way to do this.

My collegues create for me XMI files and emx files and at first I try to import object from ProVision menu "Intreface"-> "UML"-> "Import XMI". But I was able only to see all the Objects but without relations or link or other models the rapresents all in a model

Then I try in other way and I ask them to install pvEclipse Plug-in on their RSA. They use the plug in and extract a xml file , but when I try to open (import) on ProVison it seems nothing happen.

Would you please send me a guide a drive me for the correct way to connect the models (UML <-> ProVsion) and show me all the functionality related?.

I'm register as Customer , but now I'm not able to open a case in ProVision Suppor (the Site Administrators work form me at this time).

I've heard from one of our site admins that you're now able to access the ProVision Support Site. Can you submit this issue as a case?

Yesterday I reach to access my cases, and today the ProVision support site page show as unavailable.

It's so hard!! Help me please.

The case feedback I read from email says to read the user guide document (Interface XMI) that I have already read without success. Also the screenshot is not the same as the version 6.2.1 shows.

Maybe the input XMI format is not correct ?

Maybe the export made from RSA would be made with particular parameters?

Which is the correct Modeling Language to activate in ProVision ? Maybe UML 2.1 ?

Hi Simona,

The ProVision support site is now available.

It is possible that parts of the input XMI format are not correct. This is dependent upon the output and RAS's ability to conform to UML standards. From what I understand they should conforming to UML 2.1.

Your modeling language should not have an effect on what can and cannot import into ProVision from the Interfaces.
