A user has borrowed a PV license and returned in prior to the expiry period. However, on the license server it still shows as being allocated to that user and it is not releasing the license.
Is there a way of releasing the license manually to make it available to another user?
Unfortunately no, there is not a way of releasing that License early from the borrow period. We do have an enhancement logged to allow the client ProVision to return Licenses early.
As an immediate workaround, I would advise contacting license@metastorm.com to ask for a temporary single-node locked license, to temporarily replace the Locked license from the user. You can CC the helpdesk on your request (helpdesk@metastorm.com).
