I would like to see the ability to configure the license server and Metastorm ProVision® and Metastorm Knowledge Exchange™ 6.2 server knowwithin a DMZ network segment as the ip where is the license for example. 172.19.110.x but is protected by network security.
no way to configure the server 6.2 provision within a secure DMZ?
because customers can not enter the license server that are on another network segment example. 172.19.251.x
thanks

Hello Mazka,
Can you provide some more details on what you have setup? This sounds like it may just be an issue with how you have your network configured. Assuming a user can access a resource/IP then they should be able to check out a license. One thing you may need to do if the users do have access to the IP (they can ping it) but are unable to checkout a license, is that you may need open up a port range (by default the Floating License Server users the port range 27000-27009). You can specify what ports the Floating License Server uses so that only 2 ports are consumed and not a range.
Are users currently receiving some kind of error message when trying to contact the Floating License Server using the ProVision client?
Thanks,
Matt Michael
