7.6 install - HELP (again)

Hi

So the SQL problem was fixed. When I continue with the install - it goes upto "updating component registration" and then does a rollback and throws the error "install was interrupted" and nothing is installed.

Where should I look for the logs ? Any idea what is causing this to fail ? I'm running the setup under admin rights on a vmware win 7 32bit machine.

What .Net version do you have on that machine?

I seem to have the following versions on my machine

v1.0.3705

v1.1.4322
v2.0.50727
v3.0
v3.5

Incidentally, I wasn't able to install the .NET framework that comes in the prerequisites in the install. It threw an error that I have to get it installed through the windows features in control panel (which I did).

What OS (x64 or x86?) are you installing on?

There is an install log normally found in %Temp% for the installing user. It is normally called "MetastormBPM7.6Log.txt".

Search through this log for the string "value 3", this is the return value of installation errors. From this we should hopefully be able to work out why the install is failing.

Also please feel free to contact the support team for assistance with getting the product installed.

I'm trying to install on windows 7 32bit. 

I see the following

Ok . I relooked at the logs. It might have been IIS - I'm reinstalling now with IIS enabled.

That did it - it was the IIS. Didn't know it was a prerequisite. Its installed successfully after I installed IIS components.
